The Nawal Jaguar is the king/queen of and the voice of the jungle, wild, mysterious, powerful and depicted often on the remains of the great Mayan civilization, ceramics, stone carving, temple mantles, masks, staffs, you name it. S/he also may be your guide and protector through the underworld, which is a metaphor for our subconscious. This is where awareness allows our healing to begin.

A Jaguar day is a good day to:

Every day has a purpose, and a Jaguar day is a good day to:  ask for forgiveness for the exploitation that we do to Mother Nature, for protection against any negative energy. Since Jaguar is of feminine essence, it is a suitable day to acknowledge the work of women. The Maya also consider this a special day to pray for the lives and vigor of domestic and wild animals, good harvest and wisdom from the ancestors.
