Mayan Mantra Description
The Mayan mantra is derived from the five signs in your Mayan Cross in this order: conception, heart, right arm, left arm and destiny. Mayan languages (all 26 of them) are considered divined languages, similar to Sanskrit in the East.
To use the mantra, mindfully repeat the K’iché names of the five day signs to amplify your prayers, shift energetic frequencies and ward off negativity. Shamans consider the mantra one of their most powerful and yet practical tools.
Pronouncing the K’iché day signs correctly is easy. They are written phonetically, and note these guidelines:
J = hah
X = shh
‘ = a glottal stop, a catch in the back of the throat
